Aaaaaaah yes, easily the shortest and longest standing member of Mutual hockey. Where do we start with this one. He has been at the club for ages so as you would think, he has done some pretty stupid shit over the years. Another former Edgemead Maffia member, he decided to give back to the school after matriculating and ‘coach’ the first team. Meaning I was stuck with him.

He holds a few records at the club, including the following:

                Most caps by a field player         

    Most number of shots in the circle. (almost equal to his next record)     

                Most number of shots wide of the goals.

                Most attempts from base line.

                Most times being engaged. (Woops how did that get in there?)

                Most amount of time spent on the bench.

               

Also do not get in the car with him. After a few he thinks he is the world’s most amazing drive and that the laws of the road don’t matter. This is why he once went around the circle (which is close to the astro) to the right. Pulled over by a cop, because that’s just the luck he is having, and we ended up at the cop station late on a phuza Thursday. I had a great time there while bastick got read his rights. Then we were told not to do it again and I had to drive home. Little guys just can’t handle their booze.

He has the habit of being too punctual, normally rocking up for a braai at 11h00, when it only starts at 14h00. But love him or hate him, as much as we have tried, he isn’t going anywhere. (Unfortunately)
