Indoor Game Week #5 vs. DFM Legends (3's)

Opponents: DFM Legends

Going into week 5 and the 3rds needed to win, with a record of 1 win, 1 draw and 1 loss. 3rds were determined to prove it.

On day sweltering day after a large Saturday night the scene was set for a mammoth battle. With Dorathy facing his former team, we had the inside edge..... or did we.

The game got of to a slow start with everyone already dying from the heat, but soon enough we got award a shorty which was quickly finished off nicely by Dorathy, 1- 0 to Mutual.

But on the day Deny and myself (Goose) were having a bit of communication difficulty and were doing our best to allow DFM back into the game, and soon enough DFM were back in it 1 - 1. 

After some good back and forth play with neither us or DFM getting any real opportunities and the shorties we were getting not panning out, finally Dorathy converted another shorty putting us up 2 - 1.

Shortly before half time I decided, with the help of a call for the ball from Deny to gift the DFM forward the ball top D 2-2.

After a rough half time talk of WTF, we should be killing these guys. We came out determined to get the win we deserved, but again deadlock to teams fighting it out, better communication from deny and myself keeping there attacks at bay. Our forwards making few to none penetrations into the D. Finally open play allowed us the break we scored (3-2) think it was Sparky who put it passed the keeper, but may have been Ninja. Was hard to see through all the sweat dripping off me.

The game carried on in the same fashion till the end, with nothing much worth mentioning happening.
