Indoor Game Week #8 Durbanville (Titans)
After an unlucky draw in the first game against Rusty’s team we came up with a few more tactics to win this one to stay in the hunt for the M5 title. The ball was moved around the D with pace and Shooter received it in the middle and through it all the way to Sean (Tails) and he deflected it passed the Defender and in. We then lost our guard and let through a soft goal.
The Titans then received our second short corner and with shooter off, cracker and myself stepped up and a quick 1-2 and cracker placed it at the far left post and in, 2-1 Titans. Again we let our guards down and let a qick goal in. Titans 2 - 2 Durbanville
The second half started slowly and Durbanville got a short corner of their own. Before we knew it the ball was in the back of the net. Titans 2 - 3 Durbanville.
After being off for most of the second half I returned to the field (Tim, just… Tim). After a few missed opportunities from both sides craker stole the ball and passed it to myself on the right and I made a run down the line and scored bottom right corner. After the restart we stole the ball back and the exact same thing happened as 20 seconds before.
The final goal came 3minutes from the end as cracker and myself switched cracker made a run down the right and through it past top D where I received it on the left and pulled it back leaving a Durbanville player to run past me as I took a shot waist height and into the side netting.
Well played to the Titans and Rustys team on the performance.
