New Arrivals #5

Part 5 of the Men's "New Arrivals' sees up being introduced briefy to Calvin, Matt and Jason, also welcoming back Bailey. And yes there are still more to come. Alot of these guys have no idea what Mutual is all about just yet. Soon a wave of awesomeness will hit them like a brick wall and I am hoping they can handle it!

Another one of our recruits from the leagues of summer, Calvin joins us from the Educational Institution of UCT. During his first game in Green and Blue starting off what I hope to be many more to come( watch this space... ok you can stop watching now). He is rumoured to have the same problem Tosser has with following girls around the 2 Oceans half and 2 stay next to Cracker( yet they both come in separate cars to hockey!! southern suburbs kids). Welcome Calvin... nick name to be given at next fines meeting.

Playing position: Right back                  Current team: 4s

We found Matthew during our recruiting drive in summer league, he has never played club before and due to the fact that we are the closest club to Tableview #tellmilnerton, he decided to join us.

Date of birth: 02-12-1985                                   Previous club: Mutual (Back from Welkom)

Playing position: Right Back                              Current team: 5’s

Bailey has been a part of the mutual family for a number of years and I am surprised more people don’t know him, O wait he never says anything!!!

We cant say we brought him out of retirement because this fitness freak rides is racer to practice in the rain with 40km winds and has his stick bag on his back. WTF

Date of birth: 01-03-1993                       Previous club: Fresh from high School (Settlers)

Playing position: Back                           Current team: 6’s

What can we say about Jason? Well not really very much Last night was his first practice! Jason is one of the Belville CPUT students who felt it was time to get back into hockey and make something of himself! We will see what we can get out of him!

Next week will see the end of the Mens 'New Arrivals' and the ladies new recruits will be up as well as a new player profile and of course the riveting match reports from the weekends games!
