Indoor Game Week #9 Reddam B (Titans)
After winning convincingly 13-1 against this team in the last game we knew it would be an easy win but our captain said to keep our composure and play as a team.
We started quickly with a shot in the first 5 seconds but it was right at the keeper. We had a few more chances throughout the game but they were straight at the keeper. Disappointingly we conceded the first goal! They moved the ball well around us. But we luckily got a short corner which shooter then put away.
The brothers then won another short corner which Cracker then put away. After the game slowed down there was a rush and shooter made a run down the right and Eric put it away. 3-1 Titans. Reddam then got their own by our selfish actions with a 3 on 1 turning into a goal. 3-2
The second half began and after a lot of easy misses by our forwards we decided to give the defence a chance and after winning a short corner Gareth stepped up to the plate. Pushed out the shooter he faked and placed it for Gareth to place the ball bottom left for his first Titans goal!
Writing this without boasting I them put 3 goals away in very similar manner to receive my second hatrick in 2 weeks. I went off after that and watched Reddam score their 3rd goal of the match (very disappointing). We received our last short corner of the match and we let defence take a crack again, mick stepping up to top D and cracker passed to shooter and from shooter it went to mick who……. Dragged the ball as sweetly as ever and placed it in the impossible top left corner with no chance of any keeper saving.
Final score Titans 8 - 3 Reddam
we moved to top of the table until the Vikings played after us.
