Today we morn the passing of one of the greatest goal scorers in Mutual Hockey history. After losing a limb during Monday night's practice, this brave Grays has been in ICU since. This morning I heard the terrible news that she has moved on to a better place. A place where goals can be scored from top D and not just from the p-spot.
A place where the player wielding her special goal scoring powers is not a ginger. A place where she isn't neglected for 3 years then after coming out of retirement forced to score 12 goals in 6 games - thats right i said 12 in 6.
with this loss of this amazing goal scoring machine, the Mens "Thorough-Bred" 3s have been scrambling to find a replacement goal scorer. Our deepest condolences have to go out to "Simon" Blake, still traumatic about the events of the past few days. He was with her right up to the end.

Mr. Blake has informed me that the memorial service/wake will be tonight after practice....@ The Ox (or known to some of you as the Green Buffalo) with a few brants.
