Opponents: Bellville's children (#tellthem) (again)

Venue: Mutual grass
So once again due to another club dropping out of the
league, we found ourselves facing Bellvilles kiddies side.
With the 4th team ready to get revenge on the children
for the previous weeks game, we got the match underway at 16:30pm at mutual
grass fields, in time for the kids to get home before it was bed time.
So as the ladies started the game, it could quickly be
seen that the teams fighting spirit was back, and ready to win. It seemed that
mutual was dominating the game, scoring a goal early into the second half,
after getting a quick pep talk at half time. What commenced after the goal was
the girls getting the ball and keeping it in control, but then somehow one of
the sneaky Bellville kiddies got the ball and was able to get it to travel to
their D, and somehow, ashamedly, they were able to score. The game was drawn.
With no further goals scored, the final whistle was blown.
End result; Mutual 1 - Bellville 1
Talking points:
The teams inability to get the goals when we have it in
the D!!!!!!!!! So many opportunities wasted! Something that must really be
worked on!
Also welcome to Amy who played her first match with us on
Saturday, we are all extremely excited to have you in the team with us.
