There is
always this perception around Maties team. That no matter how well any team is
doing, Maties is gonna walk away with a win. Mutual Ladies 1s are proud to say
that this was not the case on our game against the Maties Victorians on Sunday.
Each and every player in our team gave it their all, and when they realized
that that wasn’t enough, we sucked it up and gave more.
A true refelction of
our Die Hard attitudes. Maties were shocked at the level of hockey we
played but then again so were we. We played so well together, the communication
was at its best and we defended like our lives depended on it. And when the
opportunity arouse for our team to attack, that is exactly what we did.
Im honestly
proud to call myself a Mutual CPUT ladies 1st team player after the
game we had.
The final score was Mutual 1-1 Vics, at full time.
Something that our team and
Coach is extremely proud of.
